  1. Welcome to Giora Carats. These Terms and Conditions govern all sales, purchases, and orders placed on our website. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below. Please read them carefully before finalizing your purchase.

  3. 1. Product Authentication, Purity & Weight

  4. Giora Carats guarantees the authenticity and purity of the precious metals as described on each product page.

    • Gold Purity Range: We deal in multiple purities of gold, including 24 Carat, 22 Carat, 18 Carat, 12 Carat, 10 Carat, and 9 Carat gold articles and jewelry.

    • Silver Purity Range: We deal in 925 Hallmark Pure Silver (Sterling), 80 Purity Silver, and specific lower-purity silver gift articles or alloys as explicitly mentioned in the respective product descriptions.

    • Weight & Variations: All weights listed on the website are approximate. Because our products are handcrafted, slight variations in the final metal weight, design, dimensions, or enamel/paintwork may occur.

    5. 2. Pricing and Market Fluctuations

    • Daily Live Rates: Gold and silver prices are highly volatile and change daily based on international and domestic market inflation.

    • Price Lock-In: The price of an item is only locked and finalized at the exact time of booking and payment confirmation. Browsing an item or leaving it in your cart does not secure the price.

    • Additional Charges: The final billing amount will include the net metal value, handcrafted making charges, any applicable gemstone/base costs, and GST (Goods and Services Tax).

    6. 3. Payment Terms & Order Confirmation

    • Full Payment: Orders will only be processed and dispatched after 100% full payment is cleared.

    • Order Cancellation: Giora Carats reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of technical pricing glitches, stock unavailability, or unforeseen market anomalies. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

    7. 4. Shipping, Delivery & Insured Transit

    • Insured Shipping: To protect your valuable purchase, all shipments are fully insured during transit until they reach your doorstep.

    • Delivery Timeline: Standard orders are dispatched within [3-10 business days]. Custom pieces may take [15-21 business days].

    • Mandatory Unboxing Video Rule: To claim any transit damage, breakage, or missing items, the customer must record a clear, continuous, uncut unboxing video starting from the completely sealed courier package. Without this video, no shortage or damage claims will be entertained.

    8. 5. Return, Exchange, and Buyback Policy

    • Finality of Sale: Due to the daily fluctuating nature of gold and silver, we do not offer cash refunds or order cancellations for a change of mind once an order is placed or delivered.

    • Lifetime Exchange & Buyback: We offer a long-term exchange or buyback facility on our hallmark articles at our physical outlet/designated center.

    • Valuation Rules: Any exchange or buyback value will be calculated based on the current market metal rate on the day of testing, applying strictly to the melted net weight of pure gold or silver. Making charges, taxes (GST), and non-metal elements (such as wooden bases, enamel paint, or stone weights) are 100% non-refundable.

    9. 6. Custom and Personalized Orders

    • Any item created via a custom design, custom weight request, or engraving is categorized as a bespoke order.

    • Custom and personalized orders are completely non-refundable, non-returnable, and non-exchangeable under any circumstances, except for proven manufacturing defects verified upon unboxing.

  11. Any disputes, legal claims, or differences arising out of transactions on this website shall be subject strictly to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Belagavi, Karnataka, India.
